My little boy is growing up so fast!
We definitely need a 'pause' button!
For my little guy's birthday I did a train theme.
We keep things more on the easy going side for him
because he has autism and being around
a lot of people is very difficult for him.
So we just had a few family members over, ate some treats,
and then went bowling (a favorite thing of his to do).
Party Invite (details have been changed):

Party details:

I love cake pops!

My little guy LOVES chocolate pumpkin cookes w/chocolate chips,
so that's what we have instead of cake!

Dad helping blow out the candles!

That is one good cookie, worthy of shoving
the rest of it in your mouth!

At the bowling alley:

His feet were finally big enough
to fit in the smallest size bowling shoes they
had, so I decided that was totally picture worthy.

And here are his 'official' birthday portraits!
It is difficult to get studio type portraits of this kid,
and a lot of that is because of his autism.
Occasionally I can pull it off, but this time I decided
to do some 'lifestyle' type images.
I honestly like both studio/posed and lifestyle type images.
Really, any photo is better than no photo!

Static hair!

His hippo lovie he's had since he was a baby.

Playing the tablet, his new favorite thing!

If you would like to see the Mermaid Party I did for
my little girl a few months back,
you can find it here.
